Naturally inclined to fly solo, Corax can work together for a time when the cause is right. Whether alone or in a group, wereravens excel at information gathering and spreading word. Unlike the Bastet, the wereravens have no taste for violence, and their stories often hold closer to classic espionage tropes of observation, stealth, and talking their way out of dangerous situations. Eventually, the group is likely to realize that not everyone can talk at once and disband — but until that point, a murder of Corax would go to hell and back for one more secret.

                                                       BASICS                                                      

​

Toughness: Corax heal faster because they are part flesh and part spirit. This also allows them to regenerate faster They heal 1 Bashing Damage / Lethal Damage per hour, and 1 Aggravated Damage per day

​

Gold: One of the traditional Corax banes. Gold burns through Corax flesh, dealing Aggravated Damage to them, which translates into +1 extra damage that Corax takes each time they are struck with silver. While there are ways to defend against it, none of them are easy or cheap. 

​

Gnosis & Rage: Gnosis is a  spiritual component that is present in everything, however Corax being half spirit already are able to use it. This is one of the sources of wereravens power which allows them to use Gifts and many other benefits. While Rage is a wellspring of power that Corax been ibued with. However unlike Garou the Corax are not as Rage dependent and are less likely to go into rampages, as they are the children of Helios.  For More Information Click Here

Forms: Corax have 3 forms that they may shift into: Homid (a human form), Crinos (also known a War Form, and Corvid (regular raven). Unlike Garou, Corax may shift to any form instantly without any rolls or need to Gain Rage.  For More Information Click Here 

 

Breed Form: Corax chosen by Gaia to be her scouts. As any fera, they are born, not made. Those that are born as a human have Homid as their breed form, those that are born as ravens have Corvid as their breed form.

Delirium: is the overwhelming instinctive fear that affects regular humans when they see Corax  in their Crinos form. Any regular human would need to roll Resolve + Composure, Difficulty 20 when under effect of Deliririum. A Botch means that human faints and blocks out a memory of ever seeing what they saw. A Fail means that human will experience intense fear and try to run away, and will try to rationalize what they saw, not beliving their own eyes. A Success means that human overpowers a Delirium and see things for what they are.

Light Bones: Corax have +1 bonus to Dexterity in all forms due to their bones being hallow. This is also a reason why unlike Garou they take full bashing damage.

​

Sparkle Sparkle: Corax are easily distracted by things like sparkle, they are basically kleptomaniacs. When Corax's attention is caught by jewelry, silverware, etc, they must roll Resolve + Composure, Difficulty 18 to resist the urge to steal it. This only nmeeds to be done once a scene if it comes up. 

​

Eye Drinking: Corax may pluck out and eat corpses eye with their beak and drink it. This shows them last moments of the dead persons life, right before they died.

                                                       CULTURE                                                       

​

​

Fly Alone: Most Corax are loners, they travel a lot and collect/spread information. However they do keep up with one another as well as some cities used as nesting grounds by larger number of corax, creating communities there. They are one of the few fera races that are on decent relations with Garou, often sharing information with them. 

​

Veil: Corax do support the veil as any other fera, protecting their existence from humans.   

​

Litany: The Litany is the code of laws that Corax go by. There are no secrets, share what you know, teach them what they'll learn, protect the eggs, remember why you are here, bear witness, the truth matters, everything is a part of a cycle, pay gomage to Raven, fly, Laugh.​

Renown: Is social standing as well as what allows to get higher rank Gifts. Corax raise in renown like Ragabash, meaning to raise in renown they must purchase 4 Gifts of any type. Corax may also buy Fetishes the same way as garou do.  For More Information Click Here

                                                       COSMOLOGY                                                       

​

The three main spiritual forces in the World of Darkness are the Wyrm, Weaver and Wyld, all created by Gaia. The Wyld is raw unbridled creation. The Weaver spins reality into patterns. The Wyrm is supposed to destroy the excess order or the excess chaos. However, the Weaver went insane and tried to spin all of reality into its web, including the Wyrm. This drove the Wyrm mad so that it now seeks not to balance, but to destroy everything. The Wyrm has many agents and many faces, all bent on the utter destruction of Gaia, the Earth. The Corax in particular are the children of Helios and Gaia.
