WEREWOLVES

The Warriors  Of Gaia

FERA ESSENCE: GNOSIS

Gnosis is the power of Gaia within a Garou. It is her power made real. Garou gain Gnosis as part of their connection with Her. They lose Gnosis when they use Her power to affect reality or make permanent changes.

The Gnosis goes up to maximum of 10

SPENDING GNOSIS

A werewolf may spend 1 point of Gnosis for each rank of "Occult" they possesses. Without "Occult ranking" they can spend just one per round.

  • Use a Gnosis powered gift

  • Step Sideways (see Here)

  • In the Umbra, a Gnosis Trait may be spent to change the reality of the Umbra in some fashion- you may use one to step through an Umbral wall, hide your Umbral form briefly or provide some light in darkness.

  • Gnosis is also used to bargain with spirits and is used to power fetishes.

  • Burn Rage

GAINING GNOSIS:

You regain Gnosis each day, how much depends on your Auspices.

  • Ragabash - regains 4 Gnosis

  • Theurge/Corax - regains 5 Gnosis

  • Philodox - regains 3 Gnosis

  • Galliard - regains 2 Gnosis

  • Ahroun - regains 1 Gnosis

FERA BALANCE: RAGE

All werewolves have Rage, a blessing and a curse from Luna, the moon. Rage channels Gaia's pain into the ferocity Garou use to destroy their enemies, but it also threatens their self-control and makes them dangerous to their own kin and packmates.

The Rage goes up to maximum of 10

If Fera gained Rage, they may not spend Gnosis in a same turn.

GAINING RAGE: GAROU

  • Using Gifts that give you rage

  • Instantly shifting to a desired form

  • Spend Action to heal yourself by gaining Rage, 1 Rage gained per HP Healed

  • First instance of damage in the scene

GAINING RAGE: CORAX

  • Using Gifts that give you rage

  • Spend Action to heal yourself by gaining Rage, 1 Rage gained per HP Healed

RAGE naturally fades 1 point per hour. Alternatively Garou may spend Gnosis to burn equal amount of Rage.

  • Upon reaching 10 Rage Garou instantly enters Berserk Frenzy. While Corax enter Fox Frenzy.

  • Each point of Rage adds 1 to a Frenzy difficulty rolls.

FERA FRENZY

There are two types of frenzy. The Berserk Frenzy and the Fox Frenzy.

During Berserk Frenzy garou instantly shifts into Crinos form and attacks whoever or whatever caused them to frenzy. However they do not stop there, attacking anything that gets in their way. When in Berserk Frenzy garou gain +3 to attack rolls, -3 to defense rolls, and Immunity to mind altering effects.

Berserk Frenzy Triggers:

When one of the below triggers are met Roll: Resolve + Composure :Difficulty 12+ Rage Total

  • First instance of being hit by Silver in the scene

  • Someone threatening them or the ones they care for

  • Humiliation

  • Seeing one of your allies fall in battle (does not have to be death).

During Fox Frenzy garou instantly shifts into Lupus form and runs away to save their life, leaving the scene, unable to rejoin it.

Fox Frenzy Triggers:

When one of the below triggers are met Roll: Resolve + Composure :Difficulty 12+ Rage Total

  • Through use of specific powers that invoke it

  • Fighting a seemingly hopeless battle and dropping below 50% HP

Breaking Frenzy: the frenzy is not easily broken. It usually requires others to use powers on you that stop it. Otherwise Fox Frenzy only stops when you achieve your goal of running away. While Berserk Frenzy last till you either take down whoever or whatever caused it, go down yourself, or get restrained for 5 rounds.

NOTE: Corax may only experience Fox Frenzy
