CHANGELING ABILITIES
-
All Changelings have access to these abilities. Enchanted do not.

Enchanted are able to perceive chimerical reality but it is not "Fae Sight" they do not gain access to detecting innate magics.

FAE MEIN: A changelings physical appearance or fairy nature is hidden from non Changelings. Only Changelings, Enchanted, Chimera can see what a fae really looks like. Everyone else just sees a normal human being, maybe a slightly odd behaving human being, but a human non the less. Of course if a Changeling invokes the wyrd, all of this becomes plainly visible to all and sundry. Those involved in the scene who are not Changelings, Enchanted or Chimera will have to roll on the mists chart at the end of the scene where the changeling revealed themselves by invoking the wyrd.
REPRESENTING YOUR CHIMERICAL APPEARANCE:

Either wear a human avatar and note what your chimerical appearance is in your titler OR.

Wear your chimerical (Fae) Appearance as an avatar and note in your titler that unenchanted/non changelings see only a regular human.

CHIMERICAL REALITY
Changelings can take "Chimerical" damage, this damage usually heals within the day and is non fatal. Only Chimerical Cantrip's and weapons can inflict Chimerical damage, this does nothing to those not of fae blood. Chimerical reality cannot be witnessed by those without Fae sight (Changelings) or the enchanted. Everyone else simply sees humans playing silly games with one another or inflicting violence in mundane ways.

ACCESS THE DREAMING PROPER:
Changelings can enter the dreaming proper (skybox builds) via special trods in Nocturne. These are fixed points and the changeling cannot enter the dreaming except through these fixed locations.
They must spend 1 point of temporary glamour to open these doorways. They can always enter the dreaming from the freehold on Pearl Gulf Sim (The second nocturne sim attached to the first)
However use of Wayfare (3) cantrip can allow the changeling to access the dreaming from anywhere as can Oneiromancy 3 + Fae 5

FAE SIGHT
This ability is always switched on. It allows the changeling to see chimerical objects as well as other innate magics so long as the source of that magic is Banality 5 (Balance 5) or lower.
Note: The magic -source- can be identified, the -type- of magic cannot.

FAE BLOODED
Canonically fae blood is highly addictive to vampires and brings with it random side effects. Vampires are the only characters affected by this so need to check the relevant entry on their page. Of course vampires or wan Kuei who consume changeling blood are automatically enchanted for one night, actually the same is true if someone was to consume a changeling in general.

IMMUNITY TO POSSESSION:
Two souls is company enough for a changeling, no matter how blended it may be, three is a crowd. A changeling cannot be possessed by supernatural entities, unless they are undone or in the process of forgetting (their changeling soul is in dormant state and requires an infusion of glamour, if possessed in this state once the changeling soul is awakened, the interloper is booted.)

WYRDING:
A changeling can invoke the wyrd for themselves as per normal rules, but they can also Wyrd items they have by spending 1 point of temporary glamour per item they wish to wyrd. Note: This is fundamentally different from Dolorous blow which only unveils the item for a split second. Individual items that are wyrded in this manner become visible and hence lose the element of surprise. This effect lasts for a scene or until the changeling cancels it.

DOLOROUS INVOCATIONS
These abilities allows the changeling to bring any non-sentient chimerical item into the real world for one turn.
This is typically a weapon, The weapon in question appears out of nowhere to the eyes of the unenchanted, lashes out at them causing real Lethal (or aggravated damage), and vanishes once more at the end of the strike. The Mists soon set in, and those with higher Banality try to rationalize what they saw and/or felt, or forget it altogether even though the damage is done.
NOTE: Other chimerical items can't really be utilized during the -split- second that the object is manifested.

DELOROUS BLOW (Melee Weapon)
​SYSTEM:
SPEND 1 GLAMOUR
ROLL MELEE + DEXTERITY + WEAPON ATTACK BONUS + 2 vs OPPONENTS (Dodge/Brace / Parry)
As the weapon has been wyrded for a split second it has literally phased into existence and so hard to counter, this is represented by the negative defence modifier.
In Addition the weapon appears only for a Nano second though the attack is remembered, the chimerical item used is not

DELOROUS BOW (Ranged Weapon)
​SYSTEM:
SPEND 1 GLAMOUR
ROLL COMPOSURE + FIREARMS + WEAPON ATTACK BONUS +2 vs OPPONENTS (Dodge/Brace )
As the weapon has been wyrded for a split second it has literally phased into existence and so hard to counter, this is represented by the negative defence modifier. The name of Dolorous Bow does not imply it is restricted to bow weapons, any firearm maybe used, the name is simply a play on Dolorous Blow.
The projectile will phase into existence -just- as it hits the target, the gun, bow, whatever fired the weapon is fired chimerically so not seen by non changelings.
As the projectile phases out of existence it leaves no evidence of its existence. Surgeons trying to locate a bullet will be baffled, not as baffled as the character who has a new hole in them though.
NOTE: Only single shot modes are permitted for this. If the weapon is a pistol, rifle or something else it is automatically silenced, the "Explosion" that sent the bullet into flight was fired in the chimerical form so was not heard.

DELOROUS PRO (Brace Or Parry defence only )
​SYSTEM:
SPEND 1 GLAMOUR
ROLL: Brace/ Parry defence roll as you would normally (Can't roll block or dodge with this method as chimerical items are required for the effect)
Just before impact the changelings armor, or weapon move to intercept the damaging force, materializing just at the last minute.
In Addition the armor or weapon appears only for a Nano second though the attack is remembered, the chimerical item used is not.

​CHIMERICAL ARMORY
In Addition to changeling Treasures and wonders, changelings -may- opt to purchase standard gear as "Chimerical" instead. The points cost in XP remains unaltered on the gear, though the following Caveats apply

The Item is -listed- on the characters profile as CHIMERICAL.

weapon can only be used in the real world when the WYRD is invoked or DOLOROUS INVOCATION Is utilized.

The weapon is always available in the dreaming and inflicts Chimerical Damage there.

Cold Iron Weaponry or enhancements can never be Chimerical
